Restless...
Was supposed to carry out part II of spring cleaning my room today, but felt so restless...
Basically just wasted the whole day away, other than having driving lesson this morning.
I don't know why but I feel kinda drab and dreary, just sitting by my window either surfing the net or just blankly staring at Kai, with the cool wind blowing so constantly at me. I love the 'Chinese New Year' feel in the wind, as it is the same time of cool wind at this time of the year, every year.
I miss granny too...

All about Kai...
Every since I've gotten Kai, I've been reading up tonnes of information on Betta rearing over the internet.
I've owned fighting fish before, but am really keen to treat Kai so well that he won't die on me.... not so soon at least. From all the reading I've done, I've really gathered a lot of new information.
1. I need to give him a plant! Not only does it provide him some shelter, it'll provide him some comfort by allowing him to rest on whenever he chooses to. The plant will help to stablise his water conditions as well.
2. He needs to detox as well! I choose to either not feed him for a day, or choose to feed him tiny, bite size parts of a pea. This will help to improve his digestion.
3. Apparently, from what I've seen from the Internet, Kai seems to be part of the "Royal Crown" family, based on the way his fins and tail flares out.
4. They prefer pellet food to flakes... Damn... I bought Kai flake food... Am considering getting some pellet ones to switch around as treats for him.
5. I need to buy dechlorinating solution to use in the water that I use for Kai's tank... Chlorine is harmful!
6. All the information makes me feel like I'm ill-treating Kai with the small tank that I got from him! Nevermind... I'll just make this up with consistent change of 20% water every two days, so that there would not be too much ammonia and nitrate buildup!
7. I need to make a cover for Kai's tank some how... That's to prevent him from committing suicide when he decides to perform some jump stunts!
Sheesh.... it's 3.30am! Bed time now! More pics of Kai to come! And his progress! =)

A new friend!
Got meself a new friend today...
Was wondering what to call 'it' and decided to do a little surfing on the web for some inspiration.
And I found it! I shall call 'it' "KAI" - Hawaiian Unisex name "Kai", meaning sea.
Dear one an all... introducing my new found friend... KAI!
Am in the process of settling him in his new home today...
Am hoping to bring him to office with me when I start work... So that I'll have some company... Heee... Need to buy him some plants for his new home! =)

What's up..........
I don't know what's wrong with me today... Feeling a little blue.
There are times when I feel that it's so tiring being a human with full fledge emotions that it is time to turn to divinity.
Maybe that's why this song keeps playing in my head... funnily it was the hymn that Eileen used for her wedding... And I just got to spell it out...
SPIRIT WINGS
Some birds live in cages
They never learn to fly
And like those birds, I never found my wings
But Lord, your love released me
So I could see the sky
And now my heart rejoices as I sing
Spirit Wings,
You lift me over all the earth bound things
And like a bird, my heart is flying free
I'm soaring on the song your spirit brings
O Lord of all, You let me see
A vision of, your majesty
You lift me up
And carry me on your spirit wings
Now when I'm feeling lonely
I just look at You
And soon my heart is soaring high above
Everything is clearer
From Your point of view
Lifted up on spirit wings of love

2007...
7 posts in 2006 and I am shamelessly back in action... Wahaha...
God knows how many posts I'm gonna be putting up this year... but nevertheless... that's why I like blogging... and my blog... It's always faithfully here for me... whenever... forever... (Hopefully...)
2006 has been a fulfilling year... Met alot of people... Experience much that's inexplicable... and much unforgettable memories... Most of all, it's the people I miss...
Now, it's time to move on to a new place, meet new people and face new challenges. Many of the peeps from the Singapore 2006 team have done so... and now it's my turn...
Feeling excited... and reinvigorated... really looking forward to the new environment...
Anyway, it's been a while that there seems to be a sudden surge of thoughts, information to share that I decided to ignore... Will just pace my blogs as my life chuggggggggggggggs along...
